Written for the jug, not the cereal bowl — though it will do both. Steamed it holds a modest foam; cold it is clean, faintly sweet, and does not taste of a laboratory.
We have no interest in a seven-ingredient “barista blend”. Oats, water, a pinch of salt, a little acidity so that coffee does not split it.
